As the distribution end of Premium Seafoods Ltd. expanded to include products from external suppliers and the customer base continued to grow, it became obvious that there was a need to divide the various operations.

Green Island Distributors was established in 1993 with a focus on the sales and distribution of fish products. The company imports raw products from foreign suppliers and secures local fishery supplies of groundfish as well as other fish products. The fish is then processed and packaged, and sold fresh or frozen by our experienced sales team. We also distribute a wide variety of seafoods including scallops, shrimp, salmon, etc.

Today Green Island products are delivered on a regular weekly basis to Moncton, South Eastern New Brunswick, throughout Prince Edward Island, and right across Nova Scotia. The company has in excess of 1000 active customers.
